Suffolk Market Town Garden

This is an example of a garden which was dominated on three sides by larchlap fencing and, at the front, a busy street.  The owners wanted minimal maintenance so we used trellising, shrubs, perennials and climbing plants to make the garden into a room to sit in and look at the rooftops and church spire in the distance.  The front garden was filled with irises and perennials to give scent and flower through the seasons but not cut off the garden from the rest of this historic village.
